Report on latest event, April 4th.

We had another great night on April 4th. 15 young people arrived, and devoured pizza whilst playing table tennis / darts / pool & chatting. Some came together in the church to form a band and led worship with One Way - good job guys! Steph led a discussion about making choices, and we worshipped with One Way, Time Has Come, and Break Free.

NEYouth's 2nd Birthday

A NORTH END youth group celebrated its second successful year with a party for its members.
More than 50 youngsters attended the evening, run by the NEYouth team at the North End Baptist Church, and spent the night playing games and listening to a local band.
The night celebrated the remarkable turn around of the group, named NEYouth partly as a tongue in cheek response to the lack of members two years ago.
Since then, leaders have asked teenagers for their input and transformed the group, which now meets monthly and has weekends packed with events.
Organiser, Tom Garner, 20, points out that the success of NEYouth has also had a dramatic effect on the Church, which continues to flourish now the youngsters are working together.
Tom, of Portchester Road in North End said: "When you get to your teenage years, there's not a lot going on and often not a lot to stimulate you.
"We're trying to create an evening where you can come along and hear the Good News without having it rammed down your throat.
"We just want to get people excited about it."
Bethany Howard, 14, said: "I like the music and the crowd- it's really good fun."
Jack Garner, 14, said: "Its a good way to express, you can just be yourself. A lot of time and dedication has gone into the event."
